What can I donate?
We accept most cars, trucks, vans,
fleet vehicles, trailers, boats and RV's. If you have any questions

Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes, we are a classified with the IRS as a
non-profit 501 (c)(3) charitable organization and all donations are tax
deductible. All individual tax situations are different, so please check
with your tax professional to determine how you may benefit.
You will be given a
receipt and a formal letter of thanks
with our 501(c)3 Federal tax ID number
certifying that you have donated
the vehicle. This letter shows the IRS that you are authorized for a
charitable tax deduction.
What do I need to do
to donate my vehicle?
We would like the title to the vehicle. In
California, if you do not have title papers,
other arrangements
can be made in most instances. Please

My car hasn't
run in years. Can I still donate it?
Yes, we are able to
accept most vehicles running or not. The only way to know for sure if we
can accept your vehicle is to have you call us toll-free
at
1-800-394-7680 or Donate a Car Online. However,
the condition of your vehicle will affect the fair market value of your
donation.
Yes, we can pick up most vehicles
throughout the continental US and Hawaii.
How is the value of my
car determined?
We can refer you to an IRS Publication
which explains how the IRS requires you to determine the value of your
donated property; you may
review this publication on the
IRS web site. You
can also check with the
Kelly Blue Book
web site to help you determine the value of your vehicle.
How will my car be picked up?
We will arrange to have your vehicle
towed away at your convenience. You will be asked to turn over the title
and keys at the time of pick-up of your vehicle.
How long will it take
to pick up my car?
We normally contact you within a few days.
